The year is 1904, and the city of St. Louis is preparing for a World's Fair that promises to bring excitement, spectacle, and visitors from around the globe. For the lively Smith family, however, the greatest adventures are unfolding much closer to home. At the center of the excitement is Esther Smith, a spirited young woman whose heart has suddenly developed a particular interest in the handsome boy next door. Her sisters have romantic dreams and adventures of their own, while their parents attempt to navigate the everyday pleasures and occasional headaches of raising a family. As the seasons change, neighborhood parties, family celebrations, and unexpected developments fill the Smith household with laughter, music, and plenty of affectionate disagreement. Familiar songs such as "The Trolley Song," "The Boy Next Door," and "Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas" capture the excitement of young romance and the comforting traditions of home. Based on the beloved MGM film, Meet Me in St. Louis offers a charming portrait of American family life at the beginning of the twentieth century. Around them sails a world of pompous authority, cheerful sailors, crisp uniforms, and social rules begging to be mocked. The humor works because the stakes are treated with hilarious seriousness. Every blush, order, salute, and romantic complication gets wrapped in nimble melody and satirical bite, making the whole thing feel like a sea breeze carrying gossip across the deck. Beneath the nautical silliness is a wicked little jab at class, privilege, and the absurdity of judging hearts by rank. Bright, tuneful, and brisk as a ship under full sail, this comic operetta turns love and bureaucracy into a buoyant musical farce.

• OPENS MAY 28, 2027 • The Pajama Game / Musical A Midwestern pajama factory hums with sewing machines, workplace gossip, union tension, and a romance that has absolutely no intention of choosing the easy lane. At the center is a stubborn battle over a small raise that means a great deal to the workers and even more to their pride. The new superintendent is trying to keep production moving, while the head of the grievance committee is determined to fight for fairness, which would be complicated enough even if sparks were not flying between them. Around that central tug-of-war, the factory floor becomes a bright playground of comic scheming, flirtation, office politics, and dance numbers with plenty of snap. What gives the musical its charm is the way it turns labor negotiations into something lively, human, and surprisingly romantic. Beneath the laughs and choreography is a story about dignity, desire, and the funny little collisions that happen when business, love, and stubbornness all clock in for the same shift.
