Elf The Musical / Musical
For Tickets & Info:

Buddy has always felt a little different from everyone around him at the North Pole. For one thing, he is considerably taller than the other elves. For another, his enthusiasm for Christmas is matched only by his spectacular inability to manufacture toys efficiently. After discovering that he is actually human, Buddy trades his familiar snowy surroundings for the bustling streets of New York City, determined to find the father he never knew. Unfortunately, Manhattan is not exactly overflowing with people who share his cheerful outlook on life. His father is a hardworking businessman with little patience for holiday nonsense, and the big city seems suspiciously lacking in Christmas spirit. Undeterred, Buddy approaches every obstacle with extraordinary optimism, an impressive appetite for sweets, and absolutely no understanding of ordinary social conventions. Along the way, he encounters a skeptical family, an intriguing young woman named Jovie, and enough bewildered New Yorkers to fill Santa's naughty list. Based on the popular holiday film, Elf The Musical combines lively songs, colorful characters, outrageous misunderstandings, and plenty of heartwarming moments. This cheerful Broadway adventure celebrates family, belonging, and the wonderfully ridiculous possibility that one relentlessly enthusiastic elf might make an entire city believe in Christmas again.

Pericles / Play

Prince Pericles has everything a young royal could desire: noble blood, intelligence, courage, and a promising future. Unfortunately, one dangerous discovery changes his prospects considerably, sending him fleeing across unfamiliar seas with little more than his instincts and determination to guide him. What follows is a sweeping adventure filled with mysterious kingdoms, powerful rulers, treacherous storms, and the unpredictable workings of fate. Traveling from one distant shore to another, Pericles encounters remarkable strangers whose kindness, ambition, and hidden motives continually reshape his journey. A royal tournament offers an unexpected opportunity for romance, while the dangers of the Mediterranean threaten to separate loved ones and destroy carefully laid plans. Shakespeare fills this extraordinary tale with shipwrecks, pirates, disguises, family secrets, and moments of surprising tenderness. Unlike his more familiar tragedies, Pericles moves between danger and wonder, allowing its characters to discover how quickly fortune can change. Presented by Falcon's Eye Theatre at Folsom Lake College, this maritime adventure transports audiences into a world where kings and commoners alike must confront extraordinary circumstances. With its mixture of romance, suspense, humor, and theatrical imagination, Pericles offers a captivating journey through one of Shakespeare's most adventurous and emotionally rich stories.

The Wiz / Musical

Dorothy is an ordinary young woman whose world suddenly becomes anything but ordinary when a powerful tornado sends her spinning into the fantastical Land of Oz. Surrounded by unfamiliar landscapes, eccentric inhabitants, and circumstances nobody back home could possibly believe, she quickly discovers that finding her way home will require more than simply wishing for it. Her destination is the Emerald City, where a mysterious wizard supposedly possesses the power to solve her problems. Fortunately, Dorothy is not traveling alone. Along the way, she befriends a Scarecrow searching for brains, a Tinman longing for a heart, and a Lion desperately hoping to discover his courage. Sister's Christmas Catechism: The Mystery of the Magi's Gold / Comedy Play

Christmas is approaching, and Sister has a question that apparently nobody in Bethlehem bothered to answer. Whatever happened to the gold presented to the baby Jesus by the Three Wise Men? Never one to ignore an unsolved mystery, this formidable nun decides that the world's oldest Christmas investigation deserves a fresh examination. Armed with religious knowledge, questionable investigative methods, and enough confidence to intimidate an entire classroom, Sister launches an inquiry into the mysterious disappearance of the precious gift. Her investigation takes audiences through the familiar Nativity story, although the details become considerably less predictable under her relentless scrutiny. No historical assumption is safe, no volunteer is entirely innocent, and no audience member should feel particularly comfortable sitting in the front row. With assistance from a local choir and unsuspecting spectators, Sister attempts to reconstruct the events surrounding that extraordinary night in Bethlehem. The production combines theatrical comedy, improvisation, audience participation, and affectionate observations about Catholic traditions. Created by the author of Late Nite Catechism, this irreverent holiday mystery delivers laughter without losing sight of the Christmas story. Anyone expecting a quiet religious lecture might discover that Sister has something considerably more entertaining planned.

STOMP / Percussion Theatre

Imagine walking into a theater where the musicians have apparently misplaced every conventional instrument and decided that the nearest garbage can will do just fine. Welcome to STOMP, a wildly inventive theatrical experience that transforms ordinary objects into an extraordinary orchestra of rhythm, movement, and comedy. Eight performers take the stage armed with brooms, matchboxes, wooden poles, hubcaps, and an assortment of objects most people would never consider musical. A simple sweeping motion develops into a contagious rhythmic sequence, while the clatter of metal and the shuffle of feet create musical conversations without a spoken word. The performers communicate through gestures, expressions, playful rivalries, and perfectly timed physical comedy, turning their unconventional percussion routines into miniature theatrical adventures. There is no traditional storyline to follow, no elaborate dialogue to decipher, and certainly no shortage of surprises. Instead, STOMP invites audiences to discover the music hidden in the ordinary sounds of daily life. Combining energetic movement, sharp humor, athletic coordination, and extraordinary rhythmic creativity, this internationally celebrated production proves that almost anything can become an instrument when imagination takes control.
