		• SUN SEP 14, 2025 • Comets Hammer Cats With Power Display River Cats (2) @ Oklahoma City Comets (12) Oklahoma City, OK - Oklahoma City exploded for a 12-2 drubbing of the Sacramento River Cats, riding a five-home-run day to take the final home game of the season. The Comets wasted no time: Luken Baker crushed a three-run homer in the first, followed immediately by Alex Freeland’s solo shot, sending a message loud and clear. Baker added another solo blast in the third, and Ryan Ward joined the party with his own homer later in the same frame. By the time Jose Ramos launched a three-run shot in the fifth, OKC led 11-0. Sacramento finally broke through in the seventh when Drew Ellis went deep, and added a sacrifice fly in the ninth for their second run. Oklahoma City scattered 15 hits among all nine batters in their lineup, riding that to their 81st win of the year. The River Cats must’ve felt like deer in the headlights, managing just seven hits and committing an error, while OKC’s offense and timely power simply overwhelmed them. 		• SAT SEP 13, 2025 • Comets Blaze Past Cats in Unforgiving Showdown River Cats (1) @ Oklahoma City Comets (6) Oklahoma City, OK - The River Cats never really recovered after a sloppy start, falling 6-1 in a lopsided loss to the Oklahoma City Comets. Christian Romero was nails for OKC, chalking up six shutout innings with just two hits and six strikeouts before turning things over to the bullpen. The damage came early; the Comets tacked on four runs via a sacrifice fly, an RBI double, another sac fly, and a solo bomb by Esteury Ruiz in the third inning. Noah Miller added a two-run double in the sixth to seal Sacramento’s fate. For the River Cats, Bryce Eldridge did manage some offense, blasting a solo homer, his 18th in Triple-A and 25th overall for the season, but that would be all the fight they could muster, with just five total hits spread among the lineup. Sacramento’s pitching could not contain OKC’s momentum in those first three frames, and defensively a miscue or two did not help. 		• FRI SEP 12, 2025 • Ward, Miller power Comets past River Cats River Cats (2) @ Oklahoma City Comets (8) Oklahoma City, OK - Down four before they could catch their breath, the Sacramento River Cats turned a shaky first into a statement win, pounding out 11 unanswered runs to beat the Reno Aces 11-5 on Wednesday at Greater Nevada Field. Starter Seth Lonsway was chased in the opening frame after a trio of hits and four walks, but the bullpen slammed the door, with Sean Hjelle stranding three inherited runners over 3.1 steady innings, Braxton Roxby striking out three in two perfect frames for the win, and Trent Harris adding 1.1 scoreless for his sixth hold. The lineup did the rest. Marco Luciano trimmed the deficit with his 22nd homer, Sam Huff flipped the game with a three run blast in the seventh, Bryce Eldridge punched an RBI single in the eighth, and the late insurance piled up on an Osleivis Basabe double and Jesus Rodriguez’s first Sacramento homer. 		• TUE AUG 26, 2025 • River Cats Unleash a Storm in Reno River Cats (17) @ Reno Aces (1) Reno, NV - After a rain delay to start the evening, the Sacramento River Cats wasted no time in pouring it on against Reno, delivering one of their most lopsided wins of the season in a 17 to 1 rout. Sacramento broke through in the fourth when Jesus Rodriguez’s stolen base and a miscue in center set up Tyler Fitzgerald’s sacrifice fly, and Brett Wisely followed with a two run shot that opened the floodgates. From there, the lineup turned relentless, stacking hit after hit with Grant McCray’s two run double in the fifth and Jesus Rodriguez’s RBI single in the seventh padding the lead. Then came the knockout blow in the eighth, when the Cats batted around and erupted for seven runs, highlighted by Bryce Eldridge’s towering two run homer and McCray’s second double of the night. Not to be outdone, Logan Porter added the exclamation point in the ninth with a three run blast. Reno managed only a single run on Andy Weber’s triple in the eighth, but by then the game had long been out of reach. Every River Cat in the order contributed to the offensive onslaught, but Eldridge’s bat and McCray’s spark set the tone in what became a statement win. 		• FRI AUG 22, 2025 • River Cats Get Smothered in Weekend Blowout River Cats (1) vs El Paso Chihuahuas (12) West Sacramento, CA - In a night that went sideways faster than a slider, the Sacramento River Cats were dismantled by the El Paso Chihuahuas 12–1 at Sutter Health Park on August 22, 2025. It was a clinic in how not to pitch: El Paso’s lefty Jackson Wolf carved through the Cats’ lineup for 7.2 innings, scattering just two hits, walking one, and racking up eight strikeouts with a stout performance that made the River Cats look like fast food batter. The Chihuahuas pounded out every run with two outs, sometimes the two out rally is romantic, but not when it happens a dozen times in one game. Rodolfo Durán, El Paso’s backstop, added insult to injury with a two run homer and three RBIs, giving fans a night to forget back in Sacramento. The River Cats, who had been riding momentum from a gritty 6–5 win the night before, were left to lick their wounds because no matter how gritty you are, slugging does not save you from being whipped. 		• THU AUG 21, 2025 • River Cats Scratch and Roar in Tight Sutter Health Showdown River Cats (6) vs El Paso Chihuahuas (5) West Sacramento, CA - The River Cats gave Sutter Health Park its twelfth-inning heart-palpitations as they pulled off a 6–5 win over the El Paso Chihuahuas, keeping alive an impressive 11-game home winning streak in style. The bats slept until the third inning, when Osleivis Basabe flicked a solo shot to center field for his 10th home run, and Wade Meckler and Jesus Rodriguez set the table for Brett Wisely, whose double into right field brought in both runners. Drew Ellis added the final run of that frame with a clutch single to left. The Chihuahuas fought back, plating three in the fourth with a two-RBI single by Ripken Reyes and an RBI double from Cody Roberts. They even tied it later, chipping in a run in the sixth. But Sacramento’s secret weapon, Bryce Eldridge, blasted a two-run homer on the first pitch of his at-bat, his 14th of the season and one of several that have either tied or flipped the game in the River Cats’ favor. 		• WED AUG 20, 2025 • Home Magic Strikes Again River Cats (9) vs El Paso Chihuahuas (8) West Sacramento, CA - The Sacramento River Cats pulled off a jaw-dropping comeback, nabbing a wild 9–8 victory over the El Paso Chihuahuas, their 10th straight win at home. It felt like a maestro’s finale: the Cats opened the scoring in the first, only to watch El Paso’s Yonathan Perlaza hammer a three-run homer and racks of offense in the middle innings to grab the lead. Yet Sacramento wasn’t having it. Bryce Eldridge, the ever-reliable slugger, blasted his 13th of the season, a 426-foot shot of pure muscle, bringing the Cats back into it. Then the team’s resilience kicked into overdrive as Drew Ellis and Luis Matos each unleashed back-to-back solo shots to knot it at 7 to 7. With the game teetering, the eighth inning became their canvas. Osleivis Basabe and Hunter Bishop got aboard, and Wade Meckler ripped a two-run double into left field to hand Sacramento the lead. 		• TUE AUG 19, 2025 • Late Nerve, Loud Finish in West Sacramento River Cats (4) vs El Paso Chihuahuas (3) West Sacramento, CA - The River Cats took a punch, steadied themselves, and then wrote the ending they wanted, beating El Paso 4-3 in 10 at Sutter Health Park on Tuesday night. The Chihuahuas opened with three solo shots in the first off Trevor McDonald, who wore the early damage and calmly posted six innings to keep the game within reach. Sacramento answered in the bottom half with a Brett Wisely sacrifice fly and a two-out Jesus Rodriguez single, then both dugouts went quiet as the night turned into a duel. The ninth cracked it open: Osleivis Basabe fought for a leadoff knock and came around when Luis Matos split the left-center gap for a game-tying double that felt like a verdict. In the tenth, with Wisely the free runner at second, Basabe lifted a deep enough fly to right to finish the job, a clean, no-drama swing that matched the moment. 		• TUE JUL 29, 2025 • Isotopes Rain Homers on River Cats in Tough Night at the Park River Cats (2) @ Albuquerque Isotopes (12) Albuquerque, NM - The Sacramento River Cats fell 12-2 to the Albuquerque Isotopes in a game dominated by the long ball at Isotopes Park. After two quiet innings, the Isotopes erupted in the third with a solo shot from Jose Torres, a homer by Adael Amador, and a two-run blast from Keston Hiura to build a 4-0 lead. Sacramento’s bats struggled early against Anthony Molina, managing only scattered singles from Christian Koss and Bryce Eldridge while two early caught stealings killed potential rallies. Albuquerque kept the pressure on as Zac Veen added a two-run homer in the fourth, and Braxton Fulford’s seventh-inning blast effectively sealed the game. The River Cats avoided a shutout in the eighth when Logan Porter walked, Koss and Eldridge singled, and Tyler Fitzgerald doubled to drive in two runs, but it was too little, too late.
